Porsche India has now become the first luxury sportscar brand to offer used cars in the country. Under its Porsche Approved program, the German automotive manufacturer will offer pre-owned cars with an end-to-end warranty for at least 12 months, including a 24-hour roadside service.

It is worth noting that these services will be offered once the car passes through the rigorous 111-point inspection. This means that all vehicles will be required to meet the original condition benchmark, which in turn can also increase the value of any model with the ‘Approved’ seal.

This seal will also certify that only authentic Porsche parts have been installed by qualified company technicians. Meanwhile, the 12-month warranty will involve repairs to all vehicle components and labor charges, although wear and tear parts such as tires, wiper blades, and brake pads will be an exception.

The warranty period will depend on the age of the vehicle, more specifically Porsche vehicles that are less than six-year-old and have run less than 2,00,000 km.

Manolito Vujicic, the Brand Director of Porsche India stated that the company intends to ensure more Porsche units continue to remain active in India through this initiative. The move also reflects the automaker’s commitment to delivering high-quality customer satisfaction long after the vehicle has been sold or to newer Porsche customers, he added.

Notably, Porsche has managed to witness a 22% growth in sales to 188 units during the first quarter of this year, marking its best Q1 performance since the year 2013. The brand’s SUV range, which include the Macan and Cayenne, continues to remain the most sold model in India.
